CHILDCARE

Childcare is offered during our Sunday morning services for ages 3 and under.

A QUIET SPACE

Sanctuary Hall provides a quiet space when needed to care for your child and still participate in worship. This room, located on the lower level under the Sanctuary, provides a TV for viewing all Sunday morning services. Children are always welcome in worship.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Kids Ministry at First Pres partners with families to walk with children on their faith journey through 5th grade. We welcome them into a safe, loving environment where their faith is nurtured through songs, stories, play, active learning experiences and games. Our goal is to set God at work in their lives as we invite all generations into a growing life with Jesus Christ.

VBS 2026 

*SPECIAL NOTICE: VBS has reached capacity and is currently full. Participants will be added as space becomes available. To add your name to the waiting list, contact Stacey Chvatal here.

Dates: June 8-12
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Cost: $65 per camper
Who: Children age 4 by September 1, 2026 through entering 5th grade in fall 2026.

SUNDAY SCHOOL/KIDS CHURCH

SEPTEMBER THROUGH MAY at 10:30
Sunday School: Children will learn and experience new lessons from the story through different learning rotations such as art, music, games, Bible skills, cooking, science and more! By offering many different learning styles and perspectives we hope to engage and inspire our students to dig deeper into these Bible stories and their faith!

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND THROUGH AUGUST
Kids Church: Children entering grades K-5 will attend the service with their families and then go downstairs to Kids Church before the sermon begins. Parents can pick their kids up in the classroom after the service. Preschool children and younger are invited to attend childcare in LL103.

MIDWEEK PROGRAMMING - THE TABLE

During October through April, join us at The Table, our midweek refreshment for all generations, on Wednesdays  from 5:30-6:30 p.m. 

All ages are invited to join us on Wednesday evenings at The Table, which includes a catered, buffet-style meal, available starting at 5:30 p.m., with delicious adult and kid-friendly options. We celebrate birthdays and anniversaries, sing together, and have a brief teaching each week. There are activities for children, high chairs available, and a Toddler Corner for kids 2 and under.
